What's On Offer?

Fujitsu have a 9 month contract opportunity for a Communications Specialist to lead Internal Communications for Fujitsu as part of maternity cover. This is a rare opportunity for a Communications Specialist to gain exposure to working in a Regional leadership role within a Global organisation!

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this busy and rewarding role is responsible for actively delivering our marketing communications strategy through the planning and execution of communications, announcements, collateral development, weekly business updates, employee engagement, key initiatives and events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Internal Communications for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Work with the executive team and stakeholders to provide counsel on best practice for internal communications and ongoing support of transformation within the organisation.
  • Deliver high-quality audience-driven messaging and content in line with corporate strategy. Create innovative and compelling content for a range of stakeholder groups across a variety of mediums to drive relevant internal key messaging.
  • Write, edit and arrange publishing of feature articles and news posts on Intranet daily.
  • Develop and implement innovative communications strategies to drive awareness of capabilities, offerings and new initiatives.
  • Take ownership of the production of the Weekly Cascade, a tool which is used to communicate across the business.
  • Produce a weekly  Social Media Digest.
  • Liaise with various groups within FANZ to arrange distribution of announcements
  • Ensure that all corporate presentations are up to date and published on Intranet (org charts etc.)
  • Coordinate FANZ input to Fujitsu global newsletters
  • Monitor media sources for mentions of Fujitsu and provide a weekly clip report
  • Monitor social media accounts and report on statistics on a regular basis
  • Implement social media marketing campaigns
  • Work with web specialist to coordinate ongoing refresh of Fujitsu website
  • Assist with the coordination of case study and reference requests
  • Assist with production of simple videos for internal use
  • Provide proofreading and editing assistance for all collateral and communications issued by the group
  • Various writing tasks including announcements, case studies and press releases under general direction
  • Image creation
  • Ensure that the corporate identity is consistently implemented across all marketing channels.

  • Self-starter – able to work with minimum supervision

Experience/Qualifications 

  • Degree qualified in marketing, journalism or communications
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint would be a massive advantage
  • Excellent in English (writing, speaking, listening)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Experience with video editing and production would be an advantage
