What's On Offer?

The Wellbeing Specialist is responsible for the development of a strategic and integrated wellbeing component of our overall Safety and Wellbeing program to manage workplace risks to health and wellbeing and to support Fujitsu operational efficiency.


Role Responsibilities - Wellbeing

  • Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of an Oceania wide wellbeing strategy that includes a holistic approach to innovations in health promotion and education, intervention, wellbeing identification, response processes and resourcing.
  • Review current health and wellbeing initiatives to provide a baseline for further development in a consistent manner across divisions.
  • Work closely with senior managers and external agencies to benchmark strategies, data management and progress reporting and analysis in managing employee wellbeing.
  • Secure wider stakeholder involvement in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health and social wellbeing improvement activities.
  • Oversee the delivery of the employee assistance services as well as other health and wellbeing initiatives to promote a wellbeing focused culture across the workforce and develop strategies to address any issues identified through these services.
  • Develop programs and strategies to assist employees and managers in identifying early signs of stress, depression and anxiety related illnesses.
  • Provide reports to the Executive on health and wellbeing program activities.

 Role Responsibilities – Injury Management

  • Provide Workers Compensation specialist support to Fujitsu to minimise the cost of claims and deliver successful best practice return to work outcomes.
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims early intervention, injury management, rehabilitation and Return to Work services in accordance with relevant jurisdictional legislation including claims processing and associated administration.
  • Supervise the management of employee injury cases; investigate or oversee the investigation of claims; develop strategies to handle specific cases in consultation with the appropriate parties.

What Do We Want From You?


  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bring a practical approach to the application of safety and wellbeing.
  • Minimum of a Cert IV in OHS and /or training and assessment (desirable) or be willing to complete the training.
  • Previous experience in safety, wellbeing and injury management.
  • Highly desirable skills: Proficient in Excel with the ability to utilise pivot tables and graphs.
  • Previous experience in writing/reviewing procedural documentation.
