What's On Offer?

Fujitsu have a 6 month contact opportunity for a Security Advisor. You will be in a customer facing advisory role to build excellent working relationships between multiple Fujitsu customers and Fujitsu Delivery teams.

You will manage the customer relationship to achieve security deliverables as well as highlighting potential Security issues. You will also create documentation for clients, Security service reports and manage security incidents to resolution.

Being a customer facing role you will attend on-site customer meetings.

Responsibilities:

General

  • As a Security SME, provide technical security advice and guidance to the MS Competency Teams, other FSS analysts, and Service Delivery Managers.
  • Investigate, assess and report on the development or spread of potential information security threats and vulnerabilities that may impact Fujitsu and/or Customer technical infrastructure SLAs.
  • Maintain awareness of trends in the development of Information Security, including through participation in industry forums
  • Identification of inefficient procedures or processes, and suggesting improvements for implementation.

Delivery

  • Prepare and review documentation related to services, procedures or clients as required
  • Perform security evaluations of changes as the Security stakeholder of the MS ITIL Change Management process
  • Assist as part of the Incident and Problem Management team, the resolution of security incidents.
  • As the MS Security Services representative, attend regular security meetings with assigned client security and/or IT Operations staff
  • Prepare and compile the contracted Security Services reports for assigned clients
  • Provide support for Customer Security SLA Compliance reviews within Competency Teams in line with the approved Customer timetable
  • Provide support for any external assessment (eg, audit or penetration test) of the client’s infrastructure, and where appropriate take ownership of a Fujitsu response and remediation plan

What Do We Want From You?

Experience:

  • In depth knowledge of security related Network and System infrastructures gained over several years with a large faceted organisation, preferably IT Outsourcing, Government, or other organisation running mission-critical systems
  • A couple of years experience in a customer facing role providing ISM or advisory services
  • Demonstrate understanding of IT Security Management principles and delivery within an ITIL-based operational framework
  • Exposure to, and understanding of the role of, key information security standards: PSM+ACSI-33/ISM, AS/NZS27001+AS/NZS27002, PCI-DSS, or other equivalent documents

Domain Competencies

  • Understanding of basic network principals, especially IP networking, and including the nature of common protocols and products (eg, HTTP, SSH)
  • Understanding of the principles of network security technologies, and specific experience with the management of an enterprise-class product
  • Understanding of vulnerability assessment products (eg, Qualys, GFI LanGuard, Nessus)
  • Basic system administration skills on any two of the following: Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, and a general understanding of the security features of various operating systems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and ad-hoc client reports

Qualifications

  • University Degree or Industry Qualifications, or Demonstrable Expertise and Experience in a similar role.
  • Generalist certifications (CISSP, CISA, SANS etc) and vendor certifications with Fujitsu partners (Cisco, Fortinet or CA) are valued
