Fujitsu Federal Government region, is seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler for a long term contract based in Canberra. This position will working within an existing project team for our Federal Government client.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the development, maintenance and monitoring of project schedules
  • Work collaboratively with Program Managers and Project Managers to ensure that related strategies and methods are integrated within the project schedules
  • Perform project schedule analysis activities
  • Provide support to Project Managers with the day to day management of their respective schedules
  • Maintain the project schedule baseline and report variances
  • Provide regular Program and Project schedule reports
  • Update and maintain program management schedules
  • Review project milestones and identify any anomalies or inconsistencies


The ideal candidate will have a strong project scheduling skills and a strong customer focus. To be successful in this role, you will be able to successfully deliver to tight timeframes and clearly communicate within the project team.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Experience and exposure to project management activities including the methods and principles associated with planning and schedule construction
  • Sound analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and support project management applications
  • Advanced communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate with a diverse range of people
  • Experience with OPP and MS scheduling toolsets
