This is a permanent full-time position in a Business Support function as a Portfolio Co-Ordinator. You will be organizing and fine-tuning all of the commercial meetings and reports across a Portfolio of IT Projects and Customers, including co-ordinating with multiple touchpoints within the client structure.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing administrative support such as invoicing, scheduling and attending project meetings (including minute taking and following up on action points)
  • Coordinating the collection of data to provide an overall Programme or Project Plan update, escalating planning issues and informing stakeholders of relevant information and changes.
  • Project set up and maintenance of all contractual, baseline and project documentation in MS Project and SAP
  • Proactively manage the PMO inbox, ensuring all emails relating to your Portfolio are actioned

This is an ideal role for someone who has spent the last 2-3 years in a Co-ordination or Admin function who is looking for that elusive first step into the projects space.  Your previous experience will have seen you working in a large business where schedule management tools and Office Software were in daily use. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with and learn from highly skilled and experienced Project Management professionals. Of course, we're not all work and no play though – this is an environment where you'll have fun and a laugh along the way.  We will teach you the tools, techniques and approaches you need to excel in your Projects career.

To get this role you will need to have:

2+ years' experience in a Coordination or Administration function

  • Client-facing experience and managing client expectations
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • In depth MS Office knowledge, and other budget and scheduling tools
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to quickly build professional relationships and the confidence to communicate effectively with senior professionals
  • A keen interest in Project Management and desire to learn the workings of a fast-paced Project Management Office.
